  1. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (“UK”) and the Republic of Ireland (“ROI”) aged 18 or over. Any persons directly connected with the creation and administration of this Promotion (including but not limited to any employees of the Promoter, its affiliates and its agencies) are excluded from entering this Promotion.  The Promoter may request the winner to provide proof of purchase.

 

  1. Purchase is necessary. Please retain all packaging, as this will be required for validation and in order for the winner to receive their Prize. New packaging must be retained for every new entry. Internet access and a valid email address etc are required.

  1. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person per day (between 09:00 and 20:59 each day) during the Promotion Period. Each entry must be accompanied by a new code and packaging. No household (defined as persons living at the same address) may win more than 1 Prize.

 

  1. Each winner may be required at any time to present the packaging from their promotional pack linked to their winning entry into the Promotion.

 

  1. Winner Selection:
    1. Instant Win: During the Promotion Period, 560 “winning moments” (days, hours, minutes, seconds), have been randomly selected by an independent verification service. There is a winning moment every 90 minutes between 09:00 and 20:59 during the Instant Win Promotion Period. The first valid entry on or after that winning moment will be awarded the Prize. If no entry is received between one winning moment to the next, the Prize from that winning moment will be rolled over, creating an additional winning moment. All 560 Instant Win Prizes have been made available and it is intended that they will be won.
  1. Wrap Up Draw: 10 Winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Wrap Up Draw Period. Wrap Up Draw will be conducted by VCG The PromoRisk People Ltd., within 5 working days of the close of the Wrap Up Prize Draw Period. All 10 Wrap Up Draw Prizes will be won.

 

  1. Prizes:
    1. Instant Win: During the Promotion Period, there are a total of 560 Prizes of £500 (or € equivalent) cash to be won. There is 1 Prize to be won every 90 minutes.
    2. Wrap Up Draw: 10 winners will each win 1 x £500 (or € equivalent).

 

  1. Further Prize Details and Conditions:
    1. The cash Prize will be paid via BACS.
    2. Winners must have a valid UK or ROI bank account.
    3. Winners are responsible for providing correct bank account details at the point of claiming their Prize and the Promoter will not be liable for any Prize payments made into the wrong bank account.
    4. At all times, the Promoter will have the discretion as to how to implement the Prize fulfilment. 
    5. The € equivalent value of the Prize for winners resident in ROI will be calculated based on the exchange rate on the day of Prize Acceptance. The exchange rate and calculation will be determined in the Promoter’s sole discretion.

 

  1. Winner Notification:
    1. Instant Win: The provisional winning entrants will be instantly notified on screen and asked to follow the instructions to claim their Prize. Provisional Winners will also receive a confirmation email to their email address used upon entry within 3 working days of on-screen notification, confirming their Prize and will be required to follow the instructions within 14 days of initial contact. If a Winner does not follow the instructions in the confirmation email, within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that Winner and return the Prize to the promotion Prize pool which may be won by another entrant during the Promotion Period. Any claims received that don’t meet these requirements will be void and invalid and we reserve the right to return the Prize to the Promotion Prize pool which may be won by someone else during the Promotion Period.
    2. Wrap Up Draw: The provisional Winners will be contacted via the email address provided on entry within 5 days of Wrap Up Draw Winner Selection and will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the Winners. If a Winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, the Promoter reserve the right to disqualify that/the entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve Winners may have less time to respond.

 

  1. Prize Acceptance: Once eligibility of a Prize is confirmed and the Prize is accepted, Winners will be notified within 14 days of acceptance of the Prize to arrange fulfilment of the Prize. In the unlikely event that a Winner does not receive their notification within 14 days, the Winner will have a further 28 days to inform the Promoter by contacting Walkers contact us. If a Winner does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at its sole discretion.

 

  1. Provided no objection from the Winners is received, a winners’ list containing their surname and county of residence will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks, by contacting Walkers contact us. Winners can object to their surname or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during the Winner Notification process. However, without prejudice, the Promoter will provide Winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.

 

  1. The Promoter may request that the Winners participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the Winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.

 

  1. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:

 

    1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional Winners by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.

 

    1. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.

 

    1. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

 

    1. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.

 

    1. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.

 

    1. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.

 

    1. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.

 

    1. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

 

  1. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. No other form of compensation is available. If for any reason any Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another Prize for it, of equal or greater value.

 

  1. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to microsite.

 

  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using a Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.  Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

 

  1. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances of the Promoter.

 

  1. Any and all personal data provided by you in connection with this Promotion will be used solely by the Promoter (or its appointed agents) to: (i) assist with running the Promotion; and/or (ii) conduct analytics to improve the Promoter’s promotions, products or services. The Promoter (or its appointed agents) will not contact you for reasons other than this Promotion unless you have provided your express consent. All personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at  https://www.walkers.co.uk/privacy-policy.

 

  1. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. If any part of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

 

  1. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

  1. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.

 

  1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

  1. In the Republic of Ireland this promotion is being carried out:
    1. to 31 January 2023 under a lottery licence granted by the Dublin Metropolitan District Court on 16 March 2022; and
    2. from 1 February 2023 under a lottery licence granted by the Dublin Metropolitan District Court on 30 November 2022.

The lottery license is held by Pieta House of First Floor Greenhills Retail Park, Greenhills Road, Tallaght Dublin 24, Dublin (Charity No: CHY16913).
